Healthcare Strategy
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This program aims to provide Graduates with comprehensive insights into the Healthcare Strategy functions such as Strategy Development / Realization, External Innovation and Business Development as well as potentially Marketing & Commercial. Through three rotations Graduates will gain diverse global and local experience, preparing them for strategic roles within the Healthcare business.
Examples of roles that alumni have pursued 3-5 years after completing the program and gaining initial experience in the business are in different areas such as Global Launch Excellence, Global Market Access, Strategic Planning, and Franchise Strategy & Operations. These roles leverage the strategic, innovative, and marketing skills developed during the program and transition.

The program consists of 3 rotations (9/6/9 months). One rotation will be with a global team and another with a local subsidiary. The first rotation will be at your home base, the second will be international at a subsidiary, and the third will bring you back to your home base.

Global Healthcare operations
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Throughout the program, Graduates will explore and gain knowledge of our Global Healthcare Operations organization that is responsible for CMC development, manufacturing, supply and quality of our Biotech and pharmaceutical medicines. Through three rotations Graduates will gain comprehensive exposure, preparing them for roles in operation as part of the Healthcare business.
Examples of roles that alumni have pursued 3-5 years after completing the program and gaining initial experience in the business are in different areas such as Operational Excellence, Operations and Performance Management or in Site Quality. These roles utilize the comprehensive operational skills acquired during the track and facilitate a smooth transition into advanced positions.

The program is structured into 3 rotations (9/6/9 months). The first one will be at our home base in Darmstadt, Germany, after this an international assignment in one of our manufacturing sites or subsidiaries and one back in Germany.

What impact did the program have on your personal & professional growth?
The Program strengthened in me one of the most important skills for our business world: adaptability. Thanks to exposure to different departments and locations in GHO (Global Healthcare Operations) I became more agile and better equipped to handle changes. Moreover, the strong networking opportunities with peers, leaders and mentors have helped me gain a broader perspective of business dynamics and driven me towards new and increasing responsibilities.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Throughout the program, Graduates will expand their understanding of various functional areas and business domains within Healthcare R&D, with a focus tailored to business needs, including R&D Portfolio Strategic Initiatives as well as Data & Digital.
Examples of roles that alumni have pursued 3-5 years after completing the program and gaining initial experience in the business are in different areas such as Project Manager R&D and Analyst Data & Digital R&D. Skills and insights developed during the track will facilitate a smooth transition into impactful roles within our Healthcare R&D organization.

The program is structured into 3 rotations (9/6/9 months), starting in a R&D function in Bangalore/Mumbai, an international assignment in an R&D hub abroad, and a third assignment back in India.

Healthcare R&D FAQ
Healthcare R&D FAQ
Project Manager - R&D Portfolio & Strategic Initiatives track:
- MPharm/BPharm with Project Management certification or Mpharm/Bpharm with MBA.
- Understanding of Pharmaceutical R&D industry, especially in early and late-stage drug development
Analyst - Data & Digital R&D track:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as B-Tech/M-Tech, Bio informatics, PhDs, MDs, Biomedical engineers, data science or a related discipline. A master's degree or higher is preferred.
- Previous experience in data analysis is highly beneficial, especially if within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Familiarity with tools and software commonly used in data analysis. Familiarity with platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, and Palantir Foundry is recommended
