Prior to joining the program, I spent about 1.5 years at a consulting firm focused on digital transformation. I hold a bachelor’s degree in international business management and continued to pursue a master’s in strategic marketing in the UK.
The most decisive factors for me to join the team are the opportunity of global working experience, the variety of the projects and the growth potential.

During my first year at in-house consulting, the most impactful project is my first project, the Greater Bay Area Initiative project, which provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape in China and its three sectors.
This project helped me identify the “right” business area to pursue for me and facilitated direct communication with colleagues across teams, guiding my career decisions for the following year.

The in-house consulting team was highly supportive, emphasizing talent development. During my 2 years, I got chance to work on various assignments that interested me and out of my comfort zone, helping me stretch the edge of my ability.
With a purely business background, the comprehensive training options filled my technical knowledge gaps and provided me with essential skills for my career advancement.

As a strategic marketing manager in the semiconductor industry, it's essential to quickly respond to the industry dynamics and changes. I gather insights and data from colleagues, customers, and industry partners. The strategic mindset and communication skills I developed during my time in the in-house consulting team are valuable in my current role.

I have a BSc in Biomedical Engineering and an MSc in Translational Medical Research, but I found that the lab wasn’t the right fit for me. The program seemed like the ideal opportunity to transition into the industry, allowing me to discover my interests further while building my business skills and acumen.
The collaborative and open learning environment of the Inhouse Consulting team was a great experience. Whether with project teams, program cohorts, or local and global team, there is regular exchange of insights and support on business learnings, project approaches, and best practices. During a U.S. office team meeting, a presentation on a project involved a function I wasn't familiar with but found interesting motivated me to reach out and learn more. I took on an assignment with that team during my second year!
It enabled me to build an early career network across various business sectors, functions, and geographies. The relationship I have developed have provided valuable opportunities for career advice, industry insights, and a clearer understanding of specific business procedures.
The program prepared me with a comprehensive overview of the company business, which is beneficial for any future role at the company. It also helped enhance my technical skills in effective communication, project management, and critical and strategic thinking.

I hold a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Ludwig Maximilian University Munich and a M.Sc. in Management from Imperial College Business School in London. My career journey began with an internship at the CEO Office and Inhouse Consulting. During my internships, I was already able to get first insights into the GOglobal Graduate Program and I knew that it provides an environment where I could leverage both my scientific knowledge and business acumen. The program's focus on strategic projects and global exposure was particularly appealing, offering an ideal platform to establish my theoretical knowledge in real-world projects.
During my first year, I leveraged the program to see as many different areas within the company as possible, from highly strategic projects, such as driving our enterprise priority on “high-impact culture & leadership” to more operational topics, such as integrating a recently acquired biopharmaceutical CDMO business. This ultimately helped me develop my interest in supply chain and operations, which I could then deepen during my stations in my second year.
The best resource for my professional development was the many different consultants I worked with during my projects. I was able to learn from their specialties and expertise and directly apply it to the projects, I was working on. For example, the project and stakeholder management skills I learned in my first year, I was able to directly apply in my station in South Korea, where I set up the project structure of the concept design phase for our largest investment in the country to date.
Especially outstanding to me was being given full responsibility to drive my own working packages from day one of the program. This helped me develop the accountability and rigor that I still employ in my current role.

I obtained my PhD and Bachelor in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering from National University of Singapore. Prior to joining the company, I was a management consultant in an inhouse consulting firm. I’ve been attracted to to the company because the project topics are more relevant, allowing me to leverage my background knowledge in influencing critical business decisions.
For example, through a supply-demand analysis project, I built a forecast model and provided transparency and actionable suggestions for senior global leaders to make rationale CAPEX investment decisions. After the first year, I decided to focus on seeking for a role that is at the intersection between commercialization and technology innovation.
I was fortunate to work on diverse consulting projects and stations with both Healthcare and Life Science, covering topics spanning across growth strategy, process optimization, and market intelligence. Such valuable experience prepared me with advanced understanding and capabilities for transitioning into the business sectors and being responsible for a scope on my own.
I practiced structured thinking and stakeholder management capabilities, and gained a bird-eye view of the company’s diverse business. These experience benefited me a lot in my current role especially when facing complex problems or difficult conversations.
